ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT

Your sport is a part of your dream. There is hard work, sweat, and likely s few tears involved as you work towards your goals. If you haven't been an athlete, you won't understand the dedication and passion involved. I know what it's like to spend hours a day perfecting your craft. How it feels to be in bed early on Friday nights while your friends are out so you can be at your peak for the game tomorrow. The exhaustion that is the first preseason workout. And the winning moments that make it all worth it.

I've worked with a variety of athletes of all ages and skill levels to get them to their goals and often beyond what they expected. Whether you want to run faster, swing harder, kick further, or cut harder, I have the knowledge and experience to make you better. My background in sports medicine gives me an advantage that no other strength coach or personal trainer in the area has. Strength and Conditioning 

As a certified strength and conditioning specialist throught the National Strength and Conditioning Association, I utilized  my sports medicine background to identify dysfunction and create specific training programs for athletes of all ages and caliber. Over the past year I've also worked in Pediatric Sports Medicine as an athletic trainer for The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters to further my competence in youth training. Every initial session begins with a functional screening process in order to pinpoint areas that require the most attention. I teach athletes  appropriate training and exercise methods that they can utilize in their team practices and during competition. I've worked with a variety of athletes including track and field national champions and Olympians, Division I and professional football players, Division I men and womens basketball, wrestling, men and women's lacross, men and women's soccer, field hockey, men and women's rugby,  and professional weight lifters and body builders.
